A dog crate provides more than just a safe personal space for your dog although this is an important reason to get one. The difference between a simple dog bed and a dog crate lies in the den-like space that a crate is creating making it more personal and more comfortable.
A dog crate is an effective training tool. You may use it from anything from potty training or house training to reinforce some house rules and boundaries. It‘s easy to use and most dogs accept it immediately as their den-like private place.
You might be interested in getting your dog used to a dog crate when you‘re regularly away from home for a shorter period of time and you want to know your dog in a safe place. Also many dog owners have a dog crate as sleeping place for their dogs. And as long as the dog crate is foldable it’s easy to transport it with you visiting friends and family, knowing your dog is safe wherever you go.
The most asked question before choosing a dog crate is about the size. Well, most brands offer several sizes from small to large. Look at the given dimensions and compare it to your dog‘s size. Your dog needs to stretch out comfortably and to stand in the crate easily.
If you want to get a dog crate for your puppy get a size that will fit him once fully grown. Good dog crates come with a divider that helps the interior to grow with your dog. You adjust the size of your dog crate to your dog‘s size.
You may also get a large size dog crate if you wish that your smaller dogs fit in it together. They like to snuggle up in a comfortable crate if it offers enough space for all of them.
Although good dog crates come with a paw-safe bottom add a dog bed or your dog‘s favorite blanket to make his stay even more comfortable.

Bought this for our Rottweiler pup a couple years ago. It worked out well with the divider to move as he got bigger. Like that it folds down. Makes it so much easier to move! Sturdy and high quality. We still use it today and he’s 2 going on 3!
Cage is very sturdy. Two doors. Divider to constrain puppies. Best fold and setup of any cage I have owned.
We just began using this, and the construction is very good. It has a divider so as she grows she will have more room but will not feel overwhelmed with the large size that it is for now. We have the large one for a Great Pyrenees. We keep the gate open and she goes in to nap whenever she wants.

This dog crate is well made and the latched offer extra security for the escape artist. The bars are coated for safety. The add on divider is fantastic to travel safely with 2 dogs. This size comfortably fits 2 small to medium dog beds. They even thought of a removable handle for easy moving, or you can fold it up and it stores away for future use in a small space.
The crate is very easy to setup, takes less than 2 minutes. My 51lbs Golden fits in perfectly. She has enough room to move, to stand, to sit, and to lay down widely.
I have a Pomeranian, Maltese and a Shih Tzu. I ordered the 30″ double door crate. I was so surprised on how spacious it was. All 3 of the little ones fit in there just fine. They love their new room. Very happy with this purchase!
