Cats just love to hunt mice. Once we pet-sitted two cats for several weeks, one of them was a real hunter. He greeted us everyday with a prey – with subtle pride notabene. Most often his victims were mice. Did I tell that he was a great hunter? You can awaken this instinct even in your indoor cats by giving them mice cat toys.
Cats forget time and place when they are into their play. What better idea than to give your little cat friend a mouse toy that looks so real that you need to remember yourself that it isn’t.
Your cat will love them, these mice cat toys. You answer with them your cat‘s natural instinct of hunting and yes, playing.
Most of the mice cat toys have a rattling sound that actually makes the toy more interesting for the cat. It‘s also a great addition for older cats losing their hearing abilities. The rattling sound though shouldn’t be overwhelmingly loud since you will hear it maybe all day long – and your neighbors.
Some cats prefer mice toys with artificial fur, others only accept mice toys with real fur, most often rabbit fur. You will need to find out your cat‘s preference by just trying. Luckily these mice toys are very affordable and come most often in packs of 12 mice. So you can get an other brand if your cat is not getting into playing with the chosen mice.
There is a trick though to make your cat interested in new mice toys. Just spray the toy mice with catnip and leave them over night in a bag. Well, I don‘t have to say more. Your cat will most likely go crazy about them the other day.
These mice cat toys almost guarantee your cats hours and hours of entertainment.

I dropped all 12 of these mice in front of my cat who is “The Best Mouser In The World” and the look on his face was priceless. They are a little smaller, but he seems to like that. Easier to toss around. He also loves the little rattle sound. It gets him going.
Our tuxedo monkey girl loves her ‘mousies’ and goes crazy for them. She bats them all over the apartment and gets a very excited puffy tail. They constantly go missing so it’s very nice to have a large bag of these! I also like that these are completely synthetic.
I got a bag of these and my kitten has little mice scattered all over the house, constantly playing with them and carrying them everywhere. I just have to remember that they aren’t real…

These are the cats’ favorites. My cats go crazy for these and no other toy has ever gotten as much action as these particular mice.
These mice are great for a cat who might be losing their sight (the rattling is great for that), cats that like the feel of real fur, and/or cats who love to throw their toys because these are very light in weight. My cat loves these, and you can find them very inexpensive, so they are a great toy.
These mice turned my cat into a dog. She literally will play fetch with these mice. I throw one, she runs and retrieves it, picks it up in her mouth, carries it back to me and meows until I throw it again.
Cat Toy Realistic Fur Mice

My cats are so obsessed with these that it nears madness. In fact, one of my cats can’t stop thinking about them and will attack the drawer where I keep them. Once I get one of the mice out and attach it to my “cat teaser” my bigger cat will chase it to exhaustion if possible.
These have been a huge hit in our home and I love that they come in such a large pack so I can dole them out over time as they frequently become lost under furniture. Great for my kitties natural prey instincts, they love to throw them in the air and frequently present them to me with a yowl as a present and expect to be congratulated for their carnivorous stalking prowess.
My cats love these mice more than any other toy I’ve found for them. Hours and hours of entertainment.
